after not being able to get to FF coz of telstra AGAIN .. we get a bill showing that we were over out dowload limit after we were assured about 3 weeks ago that because the usage meter was SNAFU that we wouldn't get charged excess.
Mrs XA gets on the phone to them and enquiry about it ... the telstra person goes away for a second..then comes back and gave us last month (including the excess!!) for free! No mention on not being able to get to FF was made.
I am in shock... they get a caning when they stuff up ... but sometimes they come good.

SAME SHIT HAPPENED TO ME.. bastards...

on the 28th of August.. the usage meter showed that only 1GB (out of the 3GB) was used. So on that day i downloaded roughly 1.8GB. Sweet right??
Usage meter showed 2.7GB was downloaded that day.. which made us 1.4GB over the limit!!!!! BS! Thats 180bucks more than what the monthly cost usually is!
Built up some courage after reading your post xa-coupe and cracked it at them. (Just hang up then actually)

Wasn't charged for the excess, in the end! =)

BTW, i actually did bring up your story, XA-COUPE... i was trying to get the month for free.... Damnit! The problem you experienced was something different, they reckon, because a few were given the month for free.
