While you might think it is a good article when you read it, if you hear him give it in person, you will respect it all that much more.
He is a tremendously powerful speaker and he will move you in ways you might not have imagined. Search for his schedule and if you get the chance, take in one of his appearances. The admission is usually about a hundred bucks but, lasting all day, it is worthwhile. His theme usually is along the lines of "THE BULLETPROOF MIND".
I've attended 2 of his seminars.
It might be a year before he is in your area.
This is an interesting article and the 3 players were probably more in play back say during WWII when the enemy was obvious. Today however there is a 4th player on the field, one that looks like a sheepdog but is even more evil than the wolf. This player is about control and uses pure evil to incite fear in the sheep and by using cunning deception causes the sheep to blame the wolf. This then justifies the sheepdog to increase his job description from defender to offender to maintain control. Its done gradually over time. Eventually the wolf, the sheepdog and the sheep are all pawns of this mysterious 4th player. Who is this 4th player? It is the snake.

It doesn't matter if you're retired or not. If you want to prepare yourself to defend you or your loved ones, you owe it to yourself to take in one of his seminars.
I just returned from a 4 day training course on self defense with a handgun (frontsight.com) and much of what Grossman explained came into play. The neat thing was that I understood it and was able to overcome the problems associated with the anxieties.
Merry Christmas

rogrrr, After reading his articles, I'd bet he has a great seminar. I'm retired now but would like to have heard him speak.
I'm a Viet Nam vet and defending me and my family isn't a problem. I'd still like to get to one of his seminars though. There are a lot of people that don't realize the outcome if they have to end up taking someones life, defending themselves or not. That's why the Police sometimes leave their job.

It's not a video and I really think you'll like it. I thank you for being a sheepdog too. I was in from 61 to 68. I took a short discharge in Germany in 64 so I had 4 more years.

Ok...I read the Article. And based on the Principle I would agree.
Being a Gun owner my self (Handguns and Long guns) and taking Extreme measures to secure these weapons in my own home. And doing the basics to protect my family, I have never once had to use them in defense. Not to say I would not hesitate to do so.
Here in Wisconsin we can not "Conceal Carry" and I'm not a fan of such. I also believe that there is no place or reason to have a weapon in a Church for any particular reason. Police Officer or not. I go to Church to have Peace of mind, not to worry if we will be involved in a Fire Fight.
I don't know...Our World is changing, and it's getting more crazy each day. I just think it's the Russians or Terrorists are putting something in our drinking water...LOL.
