No, my XR isn't gone.

The cops rang last night, with a name! They managed to make a positive match from the fingerprints left when the thieves (I assume the same ones) came back to clean out the house after nicking the car.)

Hopefully I'll hear more on an arrest, etc. No chance of getting gear they stole from the car back, and I know this guy will probably get a slap on the wrist, but at least it's a little encouraging to know the cops were actually working on finding the crooks.

Yeah I'm guessing there's some satisfaction in this result mate. As you say, at least it shows they're "on the case"... and haven't just thrown it in the "oh well, ya get that" pile of cases.
