Tickford

Is there somewhere I can view information on the work that Tickford do on the falcon to create an XR8.
Am intereseted to know exactly what is done to the engine, suspension etc etc. (particularly the AUII).

Have searched the forums here but can't seem to hit on the info.
The Tickford website seems a bit vague on the subject.

If an old thread exists on this subject maybe someone could post the link.

Why don't you just Email FPV aka Tickford themselves? - surely they have all that info at their fingertips.

A number of car news sites have done it, and magazines like Motor or Wheels have done it as well as Performance Ford Magazine.

The information is out there...

Try this..

Maybe a virtual factory tour Mr. Flint :s5:

I'd really like to see that on the website.

BTW - The FPV site looks fantastic!

How about stroker kits for the Windsor, suspension packages (coils, dampers, bushes, camber/castor kits etc), exhaust headers etc. These would be a great kit for sale for guys that want to get tried and tested gear from the specialists.
Just a thought!

Let me say firstly the new site is really good - I particularly liked the "history" of the various models.

More archival type information would be good - addressing the point of this thread for instance with details of the Tickford mods that have been made to the various vehicles over the past eleven years.

Full specification (including performance figures) of all the Tickford vehicles would also be great, downloadable in pdf format, and including some pics of course.

Thanks for your interest.

Jeff.

David, seeing as you asked :s2:

When I bought my XR, I had no idea what IRS and LSD was. I also didn't know (and still don't, really) what makes my Tickford different from any other Ford. Now, I know you do some engine stuff and some suspension stuff, but that's about it.

I spent ages surfing the net (and found FordForums on the way) trying to find this information. Now, I know it must be written down somewhere, either in Press Releases or glossy brochures, so how about having a section for that kind of thing?

Don't dare tell me it's there!:oo1:

Thanks for listening,

Simon....
