Tickford stroker kits?

I vaguely remember someone saying that Tickford was going to help offset the costs of developing the 5.6 for such a short lifetime by offering the kit as an upgrade?

Does anyone have more information? Does anyone also remember, or was I just dreaming?

I read that too, but I haven't seen anything to say that it is a going concern.
With such a greating looking head(never mind what it does it just looks great) it is a shame if it only lasts for a relatively short life

During our tour through Tickford, Tony was telling us that Tickford in no way can do any after market stuff. All they do is make cars to showroom standards.

Tony then told us that he was trying to change this whole picture.

From what i've heard there is meant to be a kit coming available from dealers.

Keep your eyes open for something like this in the near future. One hint though, Tickford may not be the front face of the upgrade path for dealers. It IS going to happen though!

Well I am not sure about dealers carring out the work. Engine building is a specialized area.

Not what I meant. Think of dealers being able to sell fully approved upgrades to customers.

Yeah I thought as much.

From what I read somewhere I took it the stroker kits could be had from the dealers to be retro fitted from the service are, not so much as a new car option
