but realistically you have a car and therefore can transport yourself and your car to a dragstrip to do this. there is no excuses as to be doing it illegally. big deal you gotta drive 20ks to get to a strip and race in a safe environment. no sympathy at all for any of the wanks that thinks it ok or fun or cool to do this illegally. and yes i will be the first to laugh at one here who ****s up their car, kills someone or themselves just because they were being irresponsible and selfish by draging/racing illegally.
its just not on.

hows a drag strip in dandy going to solve that particular problem, as shown on today tonight?
the drags were in tullamarine (on the other side of melb from dandy), only about 15mins from calder (which has street drags every friday night)!!!
My personal opinion of illegal street drags is like stealing a car (or any other crime). You know the risk, if you get caught don't whine and whinge its not fair. You must accept the concequences. I understand people wanting to enjoy their vehicle but there are places for this to occur. Calder and Heathcote provide services along with various other meetings (easternats, summernats, etc). Take it there or risk your license and your car being impounded. I don't feel sorry for any of these knobs who were caught. I praise the police work done and hope the offenders are prosecuted to the full extent of the law. The worse one was the bogan with the RX3 or 4 who put his gf in the drivers seat so he wouldn't get into trouble. I think I will leave this post as it is as I can feel a rage occurring. This is my opinion of the situationa nd I don't expect anyone to agree.
