Check out this auction in NZ for a Holden MONARO GTS 307 1969 i have never seen one go anywhere near 200k and there is people bidding on it.

There is better on this site and way cheaper, might look at buying and selling in NZ where there must be a shortage.

I have seen that auction and I'm not sure about it. That car was up before and had high bidders bidding and then it got taken down before closing and now it is back up again with high bidders. I get the feeling there may be people bidding for him to ramp up the price. I may be wrong but I guess we will see if it sells and if the big money is reached. It's a 307 auto too which isn't so great.

Yeah i think your right about the price being bumped up and his greedy reserve is $250k what a FN dreamer

Hello,

I read somewhere that all the V8's were autos as they didnt have any gearbox's strong enough. Would seem odd given it was a Chev engine anyway. Anyone able to confirm this ?
