sell my 95 EF futura (spotless condition 132,000kms) and get a cheaper EF XR6 with more kms and spend a bit on the engine to bring it up to scratch
or
(Now i don't know much about JMM so set me straight if i'm wrong)
take the furura to JMM and go for the Dev 1 package. (is this poss on a standard falcon, or only for the XRs???)
I'm thinking if i go for the XR6 i'll already have the wheels, suspension, head work, inlet valves etc which i would have to spend extra on for the futura.
JMM work with any of the Falcon's
a Dev 1 is meant to be slightly better then a stock XR6.
see if you can find an EF XR6 for the same price as what u could sell yours for (don't know how likely it would be) i'd personally just spend money on the car you have, deffinately looks more personalised that way :)

General rule of thumb, changing cars will cost you money.
If the Futura is spotless with low kays why bother, it can be made to go as hard as an XR (or harder).
If you REALLY want an XR than yes, go ahead and swap. Allows for full club membership if that's what your into.
Suspension - if both are still standard they will be well past there best in any case. It'll cost you to upgrade either way and an XR may have been driven harder and it'll have more kays.
Wheels - If you go XR you will have the same wheels as every other XR. Why not personalise with something that suits you.
Engine - The XR has a bit of a head start but it'll cost more to get into in the first place, maybe more to insure?
