As far as I know HSE2 and Laminge would be the best to answer this question, both have the IRS standard on their XR8's.

I guess Laminge's machine would tramp up anything though

Never had mine do it and thats with 4000 showing if that helps

I'm talking about 'axle tramp'. By that I mean the jack hammer effect from the rear end when you get wheelspin.

If you were at Targa, did you get squashed by a car in a tree?

Mine has IRS as standard, and like HSE2, I've shown 4000 grand and more and never even pig hopped. If your's is tramping, I would suggest you take a look underneath and hold your breath.
