I'm gonna have a trip (around 300km) later on, what stuff should I prepare before leaving? And what should I carry just in case of any minor break down?
Here is my current check list:
5L engine oil
1L ATF
1 bottle of brake fluid
5L coolant
1 bottle of distilled water
1 can of tyre weld
2 pair of spare headlight globes
1 pair of wiper blade refill
1 radiator cap
1 air filter
bunch of fuses and indicator globes
Any more suggestions?

Also maybe just some of that tape you can wrap around your radiator hoses in case of a little pin hole. I know there is some special tape, not sure what its calld but. Spewing if you had all this stuff and then your radiator hose shat itself!!
You serious pack all thta stuff for just one trip? 300k's isn't that far. I dont live out in the bush but I do drive alot of k's and ive never taken any of that stuff other than some water.

300k's. That's not too far, that's like driving to Hobart for me and even then there's a town every 10 to 20 kilometres. I just make sure my spare is at the right air level and have a full tank of fuel. I always keep 10 litres on water on board, just incase, but i think everyone keeps water onboard.

Mate, you need all that just to drive 300 clicks? For ****'s sake! Forget the mechanic's supply warehouse you wanna take, and invest the money on a decent car. Strewth!
