I would have given him the benefit of doubt on the weight, maybe thinking that he's quoted pounds if he claims to be a pom. But Ive just noticed that you can see the victorian blue triangle on the blurred out numberplates.
In the UK - really ?
Well I always knew Melbourne was in self denial that it wasn't a city in europe.
Also interesting he was able to entend the redline to 6200rpm (thereabouts) by stroking the car to 5.7L. You would have thought that doing that would actually cause the engine to have a lower redline.
I wonder if he's got the car fitted with the friction off option ?
Fuuny....I don't see how the picture tells the GTP is turbocharged.....it looks like a stock engine. Where's the snail? From the setup (Seen on page 1), I don't understand how anyone can conclude that's a turbocharged engine....please enlighten me. Thanks!

Plus this paragraph on the bottom of the first page.
A Turbo charger was added by request, the job was done allready in UK by a Ford auto-mechanics. The mods only done ouside of Ford's wate the custom made exhaust which gives a much deeper sound at low revs and the direct admision kit by Ram-Air.
Ohh I just read more.... based on the specs he gained a whopping 80hp at the flywheel from a turbo I reckon I could get more gain than that by farting near the air filter.
As an upside it appears someone is making stroker kits for the BOSS290 engins too (based on his specs).
yes that engine looks turbocharged, it surely does.......
I was referring to this comment made by Mr BA_XR6T.....if you're driving a BA XR6T, you'd know the difference between an NA vehicle and one that has been turbocharged....I don't see any evidence of a turbocharger from the pictures...other than the statement made in words.
