Umm, i dont know what the deal is here, but has anyone thought of the legal issues surrounding a webpage recommending people drill holes into their chassis and make up brackets to install seats? The seat mounts are a roadworthy item, i think you need an engineers (at least in vic) to move seat mounts around, or make your own. Dont want the seat coming out in an accident, do we now?
Just a thing i think we should check out so we dont leave ourselves exposed. Even just throw in a disclaimer to check with the relevant authorities in your state/territory.
How about an "Idiots Only" section for people like me, who go nuts over little things like an oil change as compared to a 5 speed conversion/convertible chop top project/etc?
LOL yesterday I saved myself $50 when I realised that all I need to do to "fix" my PS system was to just fill the bloody thing up! (It keeps running dry every 4 or so months, and I thought the mechanic did other stuff like pull apart & put together the PS rack).
I'd get stung for $50 coz they'd take their time putting the EB on a hoist so they can clean up the PS rack. So it was like $5 of PS fluid & $45 labour (for just a spit 'n' polish!!!)
^^^ Despite the simplicity, I guess these things are completely hit or miss, but handy to know all the same.
