TV shows - Dimensions & Bush Mechanics

Did anyone watch Dimensions last night? XR8 v SS. They picked the SS to pieces.:D They said the handling could be better (certainly looked that way when they showed the XR8 driving around the same corner), the interior was awful (puke yellow leather) and the steering wheel was the same as the base model taxi.
It looked like they were running the SS with underinflated tyres, it twitched and turned and squealed and yelped around the corners where the XR8 just did the job and drove around them.
They also praised the XR8 exhaust note, saying it was one of the best around, much better than the SS.

On Bush Mechanics the other night they were cruising around in an XD (?) wagon and I think the fuel pump packed it in. So they siphoned out some fuel and put it in a 20lt plastic drum, kicked the front screen out so they could rest the drum on the front of the car and continue their trip!
I wouldn't of thought that gravity feeding the fuel would be good enough to drive with?
Later in the show they showed a VB Commie wagon where for some reason they pulled the fuel pump off and then continued to drive while the passenger continued to pump it madly by hand! I reckon this was a crock, there's no way anyone could pump fast enough by hand to keep it going.
You know, somebody actually complimented me on my driving today. They left a little note on the windscreen. It said, 'Parking Fine.'So that was nice.
