Seems that the XR6-T might have spurred the guys at Fisherman's Bend into action. They have contacted Garrett in the last fortnight regarding a twin turbo arrangement for the upcoming DOHC V6. This info is reliable.
yeah how pov is holden!!! get your own bloody idea!!! turbo is FORD!! suercharged is holden!!!
what a pathetic game of one-upmanship!!! so not only is it hard enough to get around the stupid v6 now, there will be a 32 valver with a couple of turbos hanging off the side!!!
i can just see the warranty calims rolling in, for paint peeling on the inner guards, oil consumption, blown head gaskets (cause we all know holden will HAVE to run more boost than ford, just so they can say they do!)
bugger this, if holden goes twin turbo im going to work at ford!!!! there is no way im going to fiddle with a gay twin turbo v6!!!!
Slick, Quick and Fulliii SIK!!!

I can get new Genuine Holden/Ford/Audi/Land Rover/Honda parts cheap, PM me!
Originally posted by chevypower I can't see how it can be called copying considering how long they have been using turbos, long before the VL. Oh my goodness i just defended Holden.....somebody slap me! TWICE!
Holden can do what they like. So what if they get a Turbo or two? Besides, Holden arent trying to better Ford by getting two Turbos, TT setups work better for V engines becasue it's easier to just have one on each bank, rather than just one.
I have a feeling that Holden have ben working on a TT for this new HFV6 long before the Turbo was released. Maybe when they first heard about it. But one things for sure, they can't keep on using the Supercharged Buick engine.
