Hiya

Got a real stupid Question/problem, wondering if someone could solve.

1st gear, down shift, low revs, low kph=massive bunny hop feel from drive train, but foot onto clutch will stop this reaction.

is this clutch or ??????

okay try this...check your engine mounts both sides and trans crossmember mounts. if not those check your diff. you may have broken rubbers

Oh..thats whats called "hunting" quite normal. My cusso does that. the engine labours trying to move the weight.

Laminge I don't think you have a problem. In first and second gears the road speed is a little slow with no gas on and it will start to pig route. Move to third with no gas and i think you will find that the torque of the motor will smooth it out alot. Lets put it this way i think that is what you are talking about.

That's a symptom of modified engines and clutches with harder springs. Pain in the ass! But if you want the power, that's part of the deal. The only way to fix your car is to detune so you get better vacuum at idle - this stabilises the idle speed. Ask Rob if he has tuned the idle steps to make up for vacuum loss.

Na my car does that particular if in slow traffic. It is had to get it to move smooth. Shift to third and tak your foot off and it will stop. By I don't doubt the mod engine is not making it worse

I agree with Doc.Check all rubber mounts incl gearbox mounts and rear susp links as any abnormal movement can give drivetrain lash.I'm thinking yours may have had a bit of work in the past hehe.
