Uggh damn cars... I have the chance to score an EL Ghia with 118ks on it for 13 grand.... Not sure whether I should keep the ED which is mint and virtually paid for or get into a bit of debt and get the EL> only thing I would really gain is the Xr6 driveline and the newer shape. I have no reason to get rid of the ED apart from wanting something newer... any comments??

KEEP THE ED they r a great shape look good with a fat set of rims not a bad price for that EL though and good k's this is my ED 2 1/2 zorst K&N panel filter pedders suspension fairly big stereo CSA Force rims etc

BOON250, although upgrading your car is a very tempting thing to consider, I'd venture to say that saying you own your current one is an equally if not more satisfying outcome. Just think, if you pass up the EL Ghia and wait a few more years... what price bracket does that put you in?

There's something about EDs... I dunno how to put it, but they seem to have a "I'm a keeper!" aura. Then again that's just me.

ok the ED stays! all good advice.. thanks guys.. no debt etc plus I like the idea of having a fairly rare car.. dont see too many ED Ghias over here.. and I'd be lost without my orange dash lights and at the end of the day its still a Fairmont Ghia..
