V8 Supercars 2

Now that the game has been out a while, for those who have it, what are your thoughts on it?

I have it on PC and I really like it, real good range of motorsports, my favourite has to be the Formula fords, only thing I really dont like is the pit stops or lack of.

Anyone up for a game over the net? Ford Forums Challenge?

Re: V8 Supercars 2

They screwed the rally aspect of the game, for codemasters to produce a game of the quality of CMR4, then to produce the bullshit effort that is the rally section of V8 supercars 2, is unbelievable.

The handling model is unimpressive - the default is too dull and unresponsive, the advanced model is overly responsive, and it seems to drop frames at times - and before anyone blames my PC, it's definately not that (AMD Athlon 64 3200+, 1gb ram, radeon 9600XT extreme) it's not a bad game, but there is definately room for improvement IMO

Edit: Don't get me started on the piss poor effort they did on Mt Panorama either

nah don't regret it, happy to support it.... there was once a time when we were screaming for supercar based games, so I am just happy game developers have taken an interest
