V8SC engines

All engines in V8SC are 5L and use pushrods. Do the regs state that the engine must use pushrod valvetrains? If not would Ford be able to use a DOHC 4valve/head donk in thier V8SCs in the future?

No Holden has used a Chev engine since the introduction of V8 Supercars apart from Perkins who held on to his old Holden engines for the first year or 2.
