Hey guys
Time I said hello even if the circumstances are not so good for Ford fans
As many of you may know by now, Fordmods.com had a huge server crash last week and finances may prohibit them getting back online.
I've been a member on Fordmods for a while, and a lurker here on Fordforums.
I don't wish to compare one forum against another, just to say that websites that promote Aussie Fords are a good thing and you'd probably agree it gets difficult to get by without regular doses of online Ford Fun Fixes (and f*ckups) and all the shit that goes with it.
So there might be a few members from Formods coming over (cap in hand?) to join this forum.
So if you don't mind a bit of stirring now and then from Aussies with E series Falcons, we may turn up here.
From what I've seen the doods here are much the same—stirrers at times but willing to help out when someone has a problem.
And it seems the spelling and grammar here is just as bad as Fordmods :)
The common thing is we prefer Falcons to 'the others' (no need to mention makes is there).
If you want to hang some shit on me to get started, I have a 1990 EA GL CFI 4 speed auto which runs ok and I don't want to convert it to MPFI or change to manual.
It's my first car, I've had my licence for about 12 months and glad I got to work on it for about 6 months before I got my licence with a lot of help from my dad.
Back to Fordmods, I hope it's not the end for them and they can get back online sometime soon – two great Ford sites are better than one.
