To Vent or not to Vent

I have been offered apair of Cosworth Vents, the same as what where used on teh ED AM HO, now i didnt get a set when i bought the kit as the bonnet was in very good condition, but now that the bonnet needs replacing, i am tossing up weather to get the vents put in or not.
Heres some pics.
thanks to SVO347 for the pics(black XR8 HO).
