Incase you have just emerged from under a rock, AC is importing LPG Ford utes into the UK as the VERTE TEMPEST. They also had plans to import the AU XRs but at the same price of the BMW 540i. Can anybody tell me if these plans have been scrapped and if the Pommies will get the BA??? It would be a poor mans Bee- Em and more! If they get the BOSS XR8 they will be in for some fun. Plus it would be the only "pickup" in England that is fun to drive, has Dual VCT, drive by wire and all that with LPG economy and absolute power. It would be much better received than the current AU. So is it going to England???????

well im afraid i have no info however a cant seen why they wouldn't sent it over. it would sell far better than the AU so i think it's safe to assume it will go, in time.
