550km later with still a quarter of a tank... something tells me im not gonna touch the cam or anything anymore.. :D very happy

Thats some awesome fuel consumption (or lack of fuel consumption to be correct!)...

I reckon a well tuned E-series should get this km's easy seeing as they have a pretty big fuel tank (compared to their Commodore equivalents).

Does everyone here run on optimax or something similar? When I first got my car the first tank got me 330 kms. Keeping in mind that it was 100% city (geelong :/) driving. I was pissed off because I thought something was wrong.

But my second tank I have now got 420 kms with a quarter still remaining....I drove on the hwy a bit to the city and back and it used bugger all! I couldn't believe how well it cruised. If if did 100% hwy driving I think I could get 600-700 easy.

Anyone else notice how bad thier I6 is in city driving? So far ive been using unleaded BTW.

When I 'use' my car around town I am lucky to get 400km's out of a tank, but if I take it relatively easy and combine it with a bit of freeway driving I usually get about 500km from a tank. Don't think it would do anymore than though except on an interstate trip.

haha, i get 500+ km's outa a tank of LPG *with the 3.08 sender* lol
so 400-450 is normal for me
