ive had this uni filter on my car for at least a year with my dev 3 from the mocks, but ive had the top cut out of my airboxx where the uni filter sits underneath cause i wanted to put in its place a plastic see through window if you like.
anyway ive finally got around to doing it today and BLOODY HELL there is a huge difference, where before it used to get down and boogie around 2200 rpm, now it actually spins the wheels and i mean spin it arks up like there is no tommorrow from take off WITH OUT stalling the revs up i am absolutley dumb founded.
i tried it on three seperate roads and the wheels still spin, before i used to have to stall it up to about 1500rpm to get similiar wheel spin. It really has improved the low down torque of my engine and would recommend it to any one with a I6.
and you get wheelspin off the line???
i just put a K&N in my ED, nothing to dramatic. Just seems to rev a bit easier.

well ive also got a dev 3 from jim mock as well but as i said before. after i put the uni filter in properly sealed in the air box the low down grunt is great, and now i get wheelspin off the line easy, with half a tank of fuel and two people in the car and NOt by stalling the engine up either just foot to the floor, as you could gather i have an auto box.

It looks great cause ive got the uni filter sticker across the top as well and with the clear window its real trick. My mate was passing by and i showed him he thought that someone had made it up for me which i thought was a good compliment.

The other thing you could try is running a pipe (PVC or similar) thru the back of the airbox + wheelwell, then round the front to the bumper - forced cold air induction!
And the best thing is, the cops'll never see it, either.
