Hey Pete, saw the new ute on Saturday (you passed me near Tynan's around 10). Very very nice, something subtle and sinister about mercury silver. Love the number plate.
Car certainly gets the looks! Took piccies but forgot my download cable so it'll have to wait.

Good to see you finally driving yr new LSUG vehicle.
Now when are you going to take her for a niiice long highway drive, perhaps to Bathurst on Anzac Day.
Whats the power like compared to your AUII XR8 and other cars you owned. Also look forward to a full assessment of the Pursuit.

Power and pick up are definitely nowhere near my XR8. having said that I haven't got to the 3650rpm torque rise yet. However, throttle response and pulling power down low aren't close. That's gotta be weight and the fact that my XR8 engine was a fantastic thing when Rob and I sorted out the specs.
One thing the FPV has is a fantastic sound. And the engine is smooth.
Let's put it this way. After driving the car 19 inch wheels are no longer a priority. Guess what is?????

Didn't really get a chance, I was on the Sutho bypass from Engadine sitting at the lights and you were travelling west on the highway. By the time I realised it was you you were almost passed.

Sorry, not unhappy. Shouldn't have given that impression. However, as usual I feel my power hunger is unfulfilled. I'm going to give it around 5000km before deciding what to do. The car is a pleasant thing overall. Well done to FPV for creating such a cool device
(must ignore Martin's post, must ignore Martin, must ignore...... )
