VH-1525(R.W.H.P)-What about FORD??

I read off a commie site that Eddie Tassones VH commodore that won the Summernats HP Heroes recently put out 1525 Rear wheel HP.Apparently this was recorded at a Ford?Holden show at Perth.
It appears that all the top players in this area ar holden commodores...Is there anybody with a Falcon that can crank out some serious blown HP???

nah cause it isnt 'foolllly siiiiiiiic moit' to own a falcon - so nobody tries

at summernats a 4.1 turbo crossflow won the 6cyl class and a 351 ( ?) or some other capacity Ford V8 made the most naturally aspirated HP so we arent getting our asses totally whipped though!

Around 700h.p aint too bad.For the n.a Clevo @ Summernats..
The Windsors with std block won't handle more than 650/ 700 h/p..

There was a twin turbo 5.0 AU ute that was in a magazine about 9 months ago that i thought was going to be in the Horsepower Heroes. The car has seemed to have disappeared. Anybody else know of this car? i have the magazine somewhere. I think its plates were MRFORD.

Do you think a VH making 1500 hp has anything to do with being a Holden....It's money and time nothing more....

Anyone prepared to spend as much money and time as Eddie Tassone can have the same Horsepower if they want.

And it was Jason Mansweto's NA 400 cube Windsor that really impressd me, 700hp from a NA small block motor is unbelivable.

No disrepect to Ed, his car is unbeleivable, but that motor has about as much to do with Holden as I do with the gay and lesbian mardi gras

Would the 5.0L block handle twin turbos and 1000+Hp??? Imagine the new 5.4 with twins onboard!!!! I also understand these guys throw unbeleivable money at their engines,i heard that Jason Gray spent 100K on his blown commodore when he won the HP Heroes.

Nope but you can get blocks that can handle in excess of that from the aftermarket. I doubt theres a production block in existance that can handle above 1000hp for any length of time.

BTW The 2003 Mustang Cobra is seeing over 700Hp at the engine with stock internals when replacing the factory blower with a Kenne Bell twin screw type....And thats only the little 4.6, imagine the 5.4...
