A friend of mine just sent me a link to a forum ( www.melbccr.com)
where they reckon they have seen a red viper cop car in melbourne. Has anyone else heard of this or are they just bullshitting?

There was a segment during the channel 10 news last night about a police vehicles display day(week?) in victoria to show off their new technologies. On it they showed a red dogde viper with the police markings being driven around by a copper aswell as a new 350z and a few others.

Interestingly the display which sported the new technologies such as onboard computer/2way etc was a red unmarked xr6T.

Dodge Viper cop car? I'd love to see that. I think it would teach that GTS coupe cop car a think or two. I don't even think they would have any in America. I know they use camaros and Mustangs and the occasional corvette.
