I had the awful experience of seeing a VS commodore with clear tail lights last night, and I thought they looked god-awful.

What do you guys think of them?

On a side note, I'm seeing a lot more VL commodores with clear rear indicators. Just doesn't look right to me...

*EDIT again* Hrm come to think of it I quite liked the HRT427's tail lights... But seeing those on a VX Executive sedan complete with P plates is not a good look!

Ugly, My mate bought a pair. They look sort of like mazda 6 lights. He bought some for his headlights as well. The front looks good the rear is crap, he doesnt even like them now after having them for a week.

DansEdgli, I see where you're coming from with the Mazda6 comparison, it's funny how altering one make/model's appearance can make it look like a reference to a completely different make/model! Like that Monaro thread where people are comparing it to a pontiac, XB (bonnet scoops), lancer, etc.

on some cars I think it suits, all depends on the colour of the car i think, as well as how well its integrated with the rest of the car - ie. not completely stock.
I have clear indicators on the rear of my car, i suppose they could be classed as the Altezza lights for an XF, and I love em.

I suppose end of the day, no matter what it is, provided it is done properly anything can look good.
