I know this is a Ford Forum and we all know that Ford rules, but I laughed when I saw this, a car that looks very much like a VT Commodore, in Saudi Arabia!! I know they're exported to the Middle East but I still thought it was funny, looks like it's a cop car too! The good old Crapodore beamed all over the world, seems like you can't get away from them, hopefully Ford will export the next model and make some extra money. Check it out, it's the pic at the top, cheers,
I think they badge them as a Chevrolet Lumina over there. The weird thing is that the hubcaps look like the ones that came out on the VS Acclaim. They do make a pretty good cop car, where else can you get a V8 sedan that costs that much and goes that hard?

i would be interested to see how much a jo blow could buy a crappadore over there for. i wonder if they put a big "fully imported " sticker on in the show room. hehehe
There was an article in one of the Commode mags about them awhile back and also the Statesman import's to Saudi. Apparently needed some serious cooling system works, huge radiator etc to keep em running towards the cool end in 40+ degree daily temps and continuous driving
When I was there it was strange to see Commodore look a likes in the streets. You might find that it's actually an Opel, they are everywhere in the Middle East.
