VX EXEC or AUIII XR6

I got this ____________ that thinks his Executive Commy would be faster then my XR6 VCT ute?

He has stock 152kw, i have stock 172

What do you guys think.

BTW he thinks his Executive looks better then my car because he put an SS body kit on it and foglamps. It still has the black mirrors and door strips, and some gay after market wheels.

What medication is this guy on???

There was a time when I'd say "take him out on the road and blow his doors off".

Just don't forget to tell him that money can't buy taste.
Remember that body kit has got to be worth 25kw at the wheels.

If that was a supercharged V6 exec (if there ever was such a thing), you might have some problems. Must be the medication. Take the green pills, my son....

Power to weight is pretty close actually. If yours is an auto id say the Commo would get you off the line.

10kg/kw Commo
9.6kg/kw XR6 Ute

Polynesian Green
Turbo on the way!!

mate you should be a fair bit quicker... I have proven numerous times, my au OHC 6 cyl is quicker then a VT/VX, all i have is an exhaust and headers.

so you should sh!t it in, plus you weigh less being a ute.

my 2 cents

cheers and good luck (but you wont need it!)

Let him think what ever he likes. Be thankful he doesn't drive a Ford!!!

By the way, what tranny's are in the cars?

What are their diff ratio's?
I thought the commie would be 3.08, and the XR would be 3.45 ish...

'67 Mustang V8 4sp... what fun to drive!

Power to weight might be close on paper, however in reality it's a no brainer. Have you driven both cars?
The VCT has much more low down and midrange grunt than the V6, it puts it to shame.
Power to weight isn't always representative because of the different characteristics of various engines.

In any case, I'm sceptical of the real output of the VCT, I'm more inclined to think it has around 185kw standard.

Rick.
