I can remember someone on this forum saying that Ford should do some demo laps of the BA Falcons at a V8Supercar round to show the public our product.

Well apparently Holden must of read this forum because that's what they did at the QLD500 with a VYSS and a SV8.

Thats priceless. I couldn't agree with you more ayman. I think they actually bought the lights off the magna and whacked them on - then molded the bootline to fit! Get the latest MOTOR mag and there is a picture of the SS from behind, and then a Magna from behind. Flick the pages quickly and you'll see there is very very little difference in the back.
They did stuff it, they really did. I can't wait to see all the Holden fans SQUEEM in disgust at their Holden. I've made a prediction that alot of Holden fans will be ship-jumping over to our camp. But thats just my opinion given that about 80% of people you wave HRT flags at the races only do so because they win and you'll feel safe in a crowd. Same in the footy with Essendon last year.

That's always been the case, though, hasn't it? The people flying Ferrari flags in Formula One now were the same people flying the McLaren flags in the late nineties when Hakkinen was winning. I hear what you're saying about people supporting only winning teams and I agree....

Hers a question for you, did you all run out and buy an ls1 when it came out because it was quicker than your fords? No. Most true holden fans will do what you did, wait for the next model holden and hope its a beauty, if its not then they might jump ship,but of coarse some will change now. But i am in no hurry to buy a ford because it is competitive with my car. Just gives insentive to buy more kw.

whats with the tall poppy syndroem on HRT? they are a very sucessful team, does that mean you have to hate them?
