Tried to post this in LS1.com.au but it was either moved to the hidden section or deleted. So I will share it with you guys instead.

I was told a funny story today. Apparently Booran Holden in Melbourne were receiving there first order of VY's today. They unloaded them all off the truck and parked them all outside the dealership. Someone thought it was a good idea to leave the keys in the ignition and one got stolen.

Holden havent sold a single VY Commodore and there is already a stolen one floating around the streets of Melbourne. Very amusing.

Its not the first time the dealership have had Commy dissapear from underneath their noses. Not long ago a guy wandered in off the street, found the keys to a Monaro, and proceeded to just drive off into the sunset in it.

Im thinking a review of security procedures is in order yes?

Yeah a big review is needed!!!!!! how funny is that though, i bet they were all standing inside the showroom and watched it drive away too!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't stop laughing!!!!!!

I can confirm that this is true.
It was a VY SS and the dealer who was meant to get it was not too impressed.
