eek VY Statesman Interior/Exterior Images

Below are two images of the upcoming VY Statesman. They are still not secure as modifications are still in progression due to the features of the BA range. Power windows on the door, I believe.
Also, have a look at the other interior designs posted on the wall of the interior picture. One has a flip up screen which looks very good.

Sorry, but these aren't pics of the new Statesman, they are development sketches/models of the VY Commodore/Calais.
They have been available on mediaOnline since August :s2:

Yes, you are right. The 'WK' Statesman would have been signed off years ago (Just like the VY Commodore).

hrm... as i would have said if they were actually pics of the statesman.. i wouldn't have believed it, as the car is not far distinguished from the commodore series... which would be unusual for a statesman, considering the last statesman to have a hint of commodore in it was the VN.

Based on the recent photos it looks as though the new Fairlane is very Falcon like - OK, everyone agrees the BA is a great design (and great to drive), but looks as though there will not be much differentiation between the short and long wheelbase Fords this time around. I'd be surprised if Holden falls into the same trap with the WK.

Due to the good sales OS of Statesmans lately, and Holdens in general, I would assume that the WK will be the most different (compared to Commodore) Statesman ever.

Ever since it was re-introduced as the VQ in 1990 each successive model has grown more differentiated from Commodore. This will continue with the WK, the overall success Holden is experiencing now will only help too.
