I saw a late model Merc coupe, an AMG CL55 I think (not very up with Merc models) came flying up behind me so I moved to the left lane to let him past (I was doing 65km/h in the 60 zone). He then pulled into the lane in front of me to stop for the lights. A motorbike, one of those Yamcati types pulled into the lane next to him. This will be interesting I'm thinking. Light turns green and the guy in the Merc is trying to race the bike. After a couple of hundred metres it's obvious the Merc has no chance and he backs off. This was in a surburban area, it was a dual carriageway but there were lots of other cars around and I think this was quite irresponsible.

hmmm with all the crash safety features in that i dont think he could really care, ohh and probibly insurance is nothign to him MONEY??? it grows on trees didnt u ppl know that (i could only live in hope) but yes quite irrisponsible

The galoots that you're talking about drive every make and model car ever made. The best thing we can do is make sure we spend out money to get trained (defensive driver training) and keep our cars in good shape.

I hate these generalizations. If I drive my Laser, I am a try hard in a 4 banger, if I drive the Grange, I'm a typical HSV rev-head who thinks i can beat anyone, If I drive my mums C70 convertible, well I am a typical Volvo driver (one that beats many V8s though :-) ) But still, I am the same person no-matter which car I drive....

thats because of the hat!!!! an upside down visor when in the riceburner, a red one on backwards in the HSV and a nice white bowling hat in the Volvo...there is your problem right there!!!
