We don't have one, used to have "Home of the America Cup" back in the 80's but thats all I can think of. For those who may not know we also have district plates over here for each of the towns, eg if you come from Geraldton then you can get a plate GN 351 or whatever for the same cost as a state plate. 120 different district plates in total for the different major towns. Then there are special series district plates which are exactly the opposite eg 351 GN, I know a guy who has both 351's for a town, one is on a mint XB Coupe and the other is on a Hilux:crazy1:

thanks guys!

i had a look on that site, and it's just amazing what you can get! we don't have much of a choice here, and it costs an arm and a leg! they charge something like $360 a year for custom plates! too bloody expensive!

And before the "State of Excitement" we were I think the "Wildflower State." Leaves us open to comments about a bunch of pansies turning into Big Kev and running away with a yachting trophy.

I guess there was just nothing that would follow on and fit. But let's have your suggestions. What does everyone think of when Perth and WA comes to mind?

" WA - Bigger than You Others Bastards?" I can't say I can think of anything inspiring so "WA - The State of Inspiration" is out. Given some or our crime stats it might be "WA - The Prison State" but I guess we want to promote a positive image so perhaps "WA -the Gateway to Asia" but then we would need a footnote along the lines of: NB Refugees this is an EXIT Only Gateway.
