Waiting for my Pursuit

I was just wondering if anyone else has had any troubles in receiving their Pursuit 250 Ute.

I have had my order in since February, and I was told I would be taking delivery in late March early April. When April arrived I called Ford Head Quarters to ask when I would be receiving my Ute, and they told me that it would be another 4 weeks, after that 4 weeks I was told another 6, Since I have rung them after the 6 weeks I was told to call back in 2 weeks to get a build date which should be around the end of July start of August.

I realise there has been some problems at the factory, but waiting 5 months and counting for a Ute is a joke!

I guess I will just have to wait another month to see if they can come up with another excuse to why my Ute isn't ready yet!

I am disappointed in the way Ford's Public Relations have handled this, maybe they should take into consideration their customers needs and requirements- communication is lacking badly, I shouldn't have to be the one to contact them to be updated on production schedules.

I'm only a bloke who wants his Ute!

I hope you get your car soon tho ...

Mr Fairlane,

Is there anything in the contract about delivery date? I would be pissed off and would definately be asking for a car while you wait for yours. Make sure they throw in some goodies for making you wait. Also if the price has dropped for these cars due to the impending arrival of Barra make sure you get the reduced price - if not see if you can cancel - may be small fee - and reorder again.
Anyway hope all works out for you!

Tim

I think the recent strikes have effected everyone who purchased a car.
I'm getting my 1 tonner tommorrow after 8 weeks which I was told about 4 - 5 weeks, and I thought I had it bad, I pity you man.

Umm, since Ford is 100 years old, the process of making a car appear when a dealer orders one should be working well. How long should it take? 120 years? 200 years?

Definitely cancel and wait for the new model or it will depreciate a heap by Christmas.

Go and buy it from another dealer i know of a few dealers that have them on the floor and would only be too happy to do a deal.

definately do that!!!. u got a new model coming in 3 months, you have waited five already...i can tell you that if i waited that long i would have told them to stick the car where the sun dont shine.... and if it takes david flint to get your car delivered on time, theres somthing wrong, the bosses should get the whip out
