Hi people,

Currently trying to locate for sale cars on web. So far search has been fruitless.

Looking for a XD to XF Falcon/Fairmont V8 Sedan up round $5,000 preferably for sale in NSW: Wanted: XD-XF 351 V8 Sedan

I understand that car Im looking for are is on the rarer side, but is there other useful means which I haven't used, if so give us your advice and/or link.

You *might* be able to try a broker.

Unfortunately, the combo of rarer car and low value will limit the number of traders who are willing to drop cash on it advertising (especially so with photos).

While your at it though, why not put what you are looking for into your sig ? Then every time you post, people will see what your looking for . . .

Oh, and go pick up a copy of "unique cars" . . . there's a reasonable chance of one being in there . . . Even if there isn't one, its usually interesting to browse . . .

The Trading post on-line doesnt seem to have everything the paper version does I have noticed, for $1.20 (well it used it to be?) its worth buying every week.

i know your not after a project but if youve got 5k to spend you could just go buy an XF ghia in really good nick for $1000-1500 (even less if you look) and get a shit hot 351 and do it yourself with cash left over. dunno just a thought if you really want one that much.

I heard that all there cars are on the web, hosted by carpoint (I think)

Yeah, prob will buy the trading post anyhow.

Ha ha i see you point but already have a XE Ghia 351 (which had been warmed over) project going. I could just throw the motor in but i was hoping to smick it up while it was out. I reakon is hard to restore a car if your daily driver as well, cause you cant afford to have it off the road for long to restore as I need it to get to work. Also I dont want my XE to be a daily driver anyhow.

My current daily driver (ELXR8) I'm going to sell soon to free up some equity, but I dont want to go back to 'ol average XD-XF (ive had to many of these) rather I want some already done.
