I believe the motor must be available on the American market to be eligible so no Falcon motors were considered. The Ford Triton 5.4V8 has made the grade in previous years but missed out this year.

Can't argue with BMWs 3.2L from the M3....its undisputedly the best engine in the world IMO.

M5 donk is really ancient nor massively impressive, it has been the last engine to recive any upgrades..

Too bad the Ford I6 engine can't enter, its a abosolutely ripper engine.
