I see that Holden is giving the LS1 guys some stick with regards to voiding warranties if they find the car has been either modified at all or been raced either at drags or at a club day. It's been alleged that there is even a sort od spy system going on at tracks to dob in LS1 drivers. I would be interested to know what Ford and Tickford's stance on this matter is. Geoff/David and comments??
It seems to be bizzare to the extreme to market a car as a performance car then whine when it gets used like it was meant to be. Mods are another thing altogether.
Any of the late model owners got anything to say ????

You'll find this has a lot to do with the attitude of the manufacturers these days. Ford is willing to the extra mile to keep customers, or gain new ones whilst Holden/HSV has become over-run with arrogance.

Remember when Holden fans would have a go at you for Ford's perceived 'fleet-car' image/ Not denying that 5 years ago, but now Holden are gaining this - and HSV too!! HSV are now pandering to the same market segment Holden fans used to claim Ford pandered to most - which aren't your private owers - and that's going to hurt them in the long run.

Well said Venom XR. I just hope that Ford does not adopt a similarly arrogant stance if/when the Falcon once again tops the selling lists (as I'm sure it will once AV settles in). I'd hate to think that GP and DF would stop posting here (and thus stop associating with us) because they think they don't need to anymore. Just as Hannenberger does not/would not post on Ls1 because he doesn't feel he needs to.
