today on of my work mates, said and i quote "ive been driving around in shit for 12 years" now this guy has been a total commodore freak, who hated everything about ford, now he has come out of his shell!
he bought himself a new Xr6 and said its the best ever car he has driven! good on ya!
anyone else got storys of crossing from holden to fords?

Our family did about 6 years ago, dad had a VS SS commy fully spec up, neways the seat kept giving him a sore back, we went back to buy a Berlina VS II at the time, and also went and gave a Fairmont a drive, he liked the Fairmont alot more but wasnt real impressed with the interior/exterior looks, so he ended up going for an EL Fairmont Ghia with full leather!! After that we've never had anohter Holden, and dont want one!

i know a guy whos brother was a holden nut- had a 'fully sick VN' etc etc etc, so naturally he was a holden boy.

he lived with us for a year - went to the tafe thats really close to us - and we argued nearly every day about ford Vs holden, how his brothers car would kick my ass etc, now i find out (a year later) that he has bought an AU, of all things!!!! and he loves it! he has already put 18s on it and a proper exhaust, bought heaps of ford clothes and stuff....he is now totally the other way!!!

all my enthusiasm must have rubbed off!!

Black BA XR8. Could have knocked me over with a feather. Had always been giving him heaps about getting a "Real" car. Don't know if i had anything to do with it and don't care. At least he got something worth bragging about. Hehehe
