Question "We Lost Ignition"

I thought I would bring up an issue on the marketing side of things at Ford.

I was just wondering if our New Zealand or Australian members have noticed that Ford has dropped its "We Have Ignition" slogan.

I've noticed that Ford NZ's TV and paper ads have dropped this slogan in favour of just having the Ford logo at the end of its advertisements - the AU3 XR and the recently launched Mondeo advert come to mind.

Mabey this is because Ford are going to change its marketing pitch with the arrival of the Barra and Focus?

Who knows?

Well I know that Ford New Zealand used the top slogan for the launch of the new Mondeo last year.

And as for the second one, well I think Holden can use that when they introduce the new VY Commodore.:s3

I reckons they should go back to that old slogan. I don't know what it was exactly what it was, but it was something like "Going Ford, is the goind trend/thing"

That'd be cool.
