Question wedding vechile querry.

This guy in my town has placed an add in the local paper wanting an Au II XR8/6 for his wedding so I rang him up and happily obliged, now he tells me that I have to pick them up at a house and travel 40klm's to where the wedding is held, then photo's and then travel back to town and drop them at the reception, now my question is how much do you charge for the hire of your car and time for the day(it should take about 3-4hrs)I've never done this before.

Our club members do it for $95 for the first 2 hours, with a 2 hour minimum, then $90 per hour after that. It is still way cheaper than limo rates. Also, we throw in a bottle of chilled champagne and a dozen crownies for the wedding party.

On the insurance bit - as laminge has rightly pointed out, there are issues. If you are in an accident, my understanding is that you will only be covered if you prove that you haven't charged for your services (ie you are doing it as a favour for a friend/acquaintence). We comply with this by not accepting payment until the final drop off point. You may want to check with your insurance company on this point.

If you do accept the job, don't think of all the travelling etc as a chore - it is a chance to show your car off, as everyone looks at wedding cars.

Just a word fo advice... be carefull they dont get carried away and leave any wedding juice in the back seat or other stuff like thqat..
that could cancell your profit margins quite a bit i'd imagine..
not that im totally qualivified in either the limo department or the marriage dept come to thinik of it. 10 snakebites probably doesnt help the qualitty of my advice either , so if it seems like crap advice it probably is.. and just ignore it..

Actually ricecooker - I thought the same thing!
What happens when the bride or groom gets nervous (which is not an unreasonable situation at a wedding)?
However, even with those thoughts in mind ...... I would do it just for the 'perv' factor!!! Imagine 2 or 3 Phantom XR6T's driving in convoy looking their best ...mmmmmmmm mmmmmmm!!!
