Weekend: Near-death experiences & Crabs

Howd everyones weekend go?

I just got back from Lakes Entrance from a fishing trip with mates. Nearly died there but it was worth it!!!

We got there in 2 cars around 11:00pm on Friday. But not before we had a potentially fatal accident. On the way it was raining and pitch black and the people driving us were pretty crap at car control. So were comin down a road at 80km/h when all of a sudden, the guys in the lead car (a Camry) switch on their high-beams and we see a barrier in the darkness. I say, "F*ck, theyre gonna crash!" and we see the Camry-driver slam the brakes and lock em, last thing we see is the headlights go out just as they hit the gaurd rail. Our driver does the same but saves it cause of the early warning. Then we see our friends car limping slowly around the other side of the corner and we get out.
This is when we realise that we're on a cliff edge and that we were 1 metre away from going over! My friend's car's corner got caved in and left a big dent in the gaurd rail. Needless to say I kicked him out of his car and drove on the way back.

But the good part of the story was the crabs. There was NO fish whatsoever but we threw in the crab nets and caught about 30 crabs as soon as we got there. We ate them (YUM!) that evening and decided that there wasnt enough so we went out at 12:00am to catch more.
I sh*t you not, we went home with about 100-120 crabs. I just finished my last one :)

Any else have interesting weekend stories?

Ahh yes - on two occassions friends have sucessfully placed me in the passenger seat whilst having a completely uncontrolled crash. One at 60km/h, the other at 110km/h. Its a bad feeling.
