Of particular interest was the R5. Not because it is 4WD, but because of the interior. It is completely different to the AU, in fact, it looks awesome. It could be assumed that this interior is what Ford may settle for with the AV Falcon. If so, its a step in the right direction in my opinion. PLEASE let that interior be put into the new model. PLEEEEAASE.:mmm: :D
I see someone else from the LS1 forum also attended the same expo and reported the Xplode wouldn't run and bagged the car accordingly. What was the Ford display like at your show? I though the Melbourne display was very good:)
The Xpold was up and cranking. That really is an awesome system. Those Commonwh0re guys are just jealous.
The Ford stand was good, but I was especially interested in the R5, because it gave an insight into what is on the way. I felt that Ford could do a better job on that coupe though.

Good to hear and I agree with the coupe. It is not something I am at all interested in so I can't say I paid that much attention to it other than the motor:)
Guy's I just had a look in Motor at the pictures of the 300+ Coupe - they look awfull, a NZ mag called Driver had better pictures especially one of the 3quarter view.
Well it's not that the Motor pics are bad its just that I can now see the car in proportions that haven't been twisted with the camera lens.
Which I think Driver did, the rear 3 quarter view looked just like the Hillier Coupe but in fact it was the way the picture was taken.
The hip line doesn't curve upwards towards the rear like Driver's picture suggests.
In saying that lot I think much better work could be done on the styling of the Coupe.
BTW whats up the drivers seat? the padding lines are different to the passengers seat. :confused:
Regarding the interior of the R5 - though I have not seen any decent pictures of the interior, but going by the pictures I have seen it looks great.
I think the colours are influenced by that Feng shui design theme - I could be wrong though?
