Hey i just saw an older lady pull into the servo i work at. anyway she was driving an older ford. looked like it was before the XW... any way the only badge i notice was '170' something. mighta been 170special. any idea what these cars where like?

Depending on what model it was it could have been a Pursuit 170 (170 ci) engine. If it was XY or XA it would have been a 250 2V engine (170 ws for 170 HP).
