What a bugger of a day
I had one of those days today. I've been at the Mrs (Dept. War and Finance) about doing something to get the mustang steering right. I've shopped around, and had a good plan of attack to get it fixed (as in a bit of RRS steering and/or suspension gear). I needed to make sure the front end was square (of course mine wasn't). So after a huge argument at home about not getting my car fixed (as I have been waiting over 12 months), I rang up 3 weeks ago and next week was the first available spot (the guy specialises in aligning mustang shock towers). So it was booked in for next week to get that fixed.
Today, on my way in to work, the steering coupling (connects steering box to steering column) lets go, and the car snaps violently to the left and into the gutter hard... Now on top of getting the front end aligned and the suspension fixed, I have to get my shelby rim fixed.... AND I'M NOT HAPPY...... Still trying to decide as to fix it myself or get it fixed by insurance.
Now I'm stuck driving the Wife's car until I sort mine out, and she's stuck at home.
Sometimes it pays not to get out of bed.
