Looks like the pressure is mounting on the General,there is also the re-calling of up to 135,000 cars for faulty power steering hose.

One of my mates had an XF ute but it was a five seater on the compliance plates

There was a guy at the RTA the other that was having problems trying to register his crewman I think, was definately because a VIN problem.
I wonder if this is related??

On the same note, my friend got a rebuilt engine in his VX SS under warranty, he found out the other day while doing a check through REVs that his 'new' engine has finance on it (well the car it came from did). He is currently trying to get it sorted.

My mate has a TE cortina with XD falcon on the compliance plate, apparently he can register it as an XD because they have to go by what the plate says and he can then drop a 351 in it
