While on the subject bought a car for the wife,i was thinking to all of you Ford guys and gals out there what sort of car does your partner drive would be interesting to hear.
Just bought my partner a Honda CRV Sports a 99 model silver in color a very nice car to drive and bought it for a good price $23,000 they normally go for between $25,000 and up to $29,000 got a bargain i think, its done 97,000klm but is due for a 100,000k service which it will need a timing belt replaced and with the service for around $600 not bad i thought. But i must say that it looks good parked next to my GTP.
Cheers John

My partner drives a 2002 Focus Zetec 3 door and she loves it. She can't stop telling me how much she loves the handling and how she'd kick my arse around a twisty track!
My wife drives an '88 Telstar Ghia 2.2L EFI Hatchback. Very Gutless. But good for ferrying the kids around. Better that than K's and scratches on my XR8.
A few years ago now, it was me in the XA GT, and she in the XE ESP 5.8. Was good when the missus' car would see off most challenges at the lights, complete with Pooh bear sunshades on back windows.
