Was wondering who you donate money to, and who you will not donate to.

My own favourites are The Salvation Army and Westmead Childrens Hospital, while I refuse to donate money to St Vincent dePaul or any of the charities that are bombarding our TV screens with starving African children. (World Vision, CARE etc...)

Good Friday appeal, ANZAC appeal and Legacy.

The Guide Dogs, the Spastic Society, Kids With Cancer Foundation...all on a quarterly basis. plus the odd gold coin donation to the type that display at shopping centres.

NEVER to St.Vincent De Paul and I'm sorry if I ruffle a few feathers but I dont support the overseas childrens funds as we have the same issues here in Aus.

Our branch is also supporting Ronald McDonald House at the John Hunter Hospital via our September dinner. We also attend charity runs/events.

Royal Childrens Hospital (good friday). We also give clothing to the diabetes foundation. I have been meaning to give some to the asthma fund (long time asthma sufferer) and to the cancer research.

Salvo's always get time with me. Things for kids hospital's I dont mind. I draw the line at helping people overseas. We gotta get our own country right(not that I was born here anyway) before we fork out for other countries.

I'm a regular contributor to the Make Slothy's Tummy Bigger Fund� but on a more serious note, both mum and I support the Salvos when we can. Not by direct monetary donations but mum often looks in the Salvos shops for stuff and recently when we moved house we gave them a lot of stuff that we no longer needed.

with the exception of Legacy, i dont donate to 'human' charities. i always donate to the RSPCA, dogs home, free the bears etc. i am a sucker for animal charities. i despise what people do to animals, so i like to help our fluffy friends.
