Not sure if this question has been covered before ?

At first I thought it was damned ugly, but it's one of those cars that grows on you, esp. when you see them in the flesh. I have seen a few of the new green ones (Hothouse I think) and I must admit, I really like the look of them. Even that strange back looks less ugly after a while.

Don't get me wrong, I think the BA XR's are awesome looking, and are easily the superior car all round - but I can't stop thinking that I also like the new SS. The inside is hideous though.

That bright green suits it - I also like the new lights with the little round light on the bottom.

Anyone else think the same, or do you all hate it !!!

I thought they looked like crap too, until i saw one in black the other day on the way to work... You are right Kiwi, they do grow on you after a while. (But then again so do warts :p )

The VY SS ute looks horn though...

I'm a true BA xr man , but i saw a black VYSS straight out the show room that had been taken to pedders and dumped on its guts. Looks pretty tough. Still much rather spend me money on a turb xr6 though.

i think they look average in photos but then i see one in the flesh and start laughing tey are really ugly the SS isn't as bad as the others but it looks really bad the front is average but from the front wheels back its terrible wast of money!!

I agree with FatBoy.. the SS ute looks nice because it loses that rear end (IMO the downfall of the VY range) The front is growing on me every time I see one, looks agressive although I'll have a XR8 anyday

As a FORD FANATIC.. i think the VY SS is a goodlooking car...
quite a menacing front end and the rear end grew on me heaps. Overall a good package.

I do not like the lower spec models though.... at all.

Phantom SS

I hated the Vy when I saw it but other then the executive I think they look quite sharp now. The SS in Silver or Phantom is the pick but I would put Berlina tail lights on it! Still from what I have heard so far the XR8 is a better performance package
