Not sure if this question has been covered before ?
At first I thought it was damned ugly, but it's one of those cars that grows on you, esp. when you see them in the flesh. I have seen a few of the new green ones (Hothouse I think) and I must admit, I really like the look of them. Even that strange back looks less ugly after a while.
Don't get me wrong, I think the BA XR's are awesome looking, and are easily the superior car all round - but I can't stop thinking that I also like the new SS. The inside is hideous though.
That bright green suits it - I also like the new lights with the little round light on the bottom.
Anyone else think the same, or do you all hate it !!!
When I first saw the pics of the VY SS I thought but after seeing a few in the flesh I have grown to like them, except for the headlamps with that round bit in them.
The VY Calais look the best IMO.

I reckon the whole range is BUTT UGLY, yeah sure the SS looks better than the base model but that ain't hard. What happened to Keep Australia beautiful?
Then again, bar the VL (and I definitely don't mean the HSV plastic investment), I can't remember a commo that I liked the look of.
I must say that green colour is real nice and the SSX commo at the motor show was not bad.

At first i thought what have they done but I like the VY SS very much now that I am used to it, looks tuff on the road to me........
Base models look the pitts and also the SV8 looks good for the money.
Cant wait to see some BAXR8's, GT's and GTP's............

Didn't like VY from day one, still don't. Some parts of the interior seem improved, others not so much. Exterior is still a confused mish-mash of soft curves and sharp lines, and it most certainly has not "grown on me" over time. HSV Y series is just downright offensive.
